# Deactivate a user

Need to deactivate a user from your LocalOps account? Follow these steps:

1. Sign in to your LocalOps account.
2. Click on your profile located in the bottom left corner.
3. Choose **Account Settings** from the options.
4. You'll be directed to the **Team** page where you can see the list of members.
5. Find the user you want to deactivate.
6. Click on **More (...)** located on the rightmost side of the user's name.
7. Select **Deactivate user** from the options that appear.
8. Confirm the action when prompted.
9. Upon confirmation, the user will be deactivated from your LocalOps account.
