Sandbox Environments

LocalOps distinguishes environments as production and sandbox environments.

Production environments are meant to be used for production use cases. That is, mainly for end customer-facing deployments.

Sandbox environments are identical to production environments but are not meant to be used for production / customer facing use cases. Sandbox environments do not have support for

  • Custom domains
  • Backups and restore

QAs/testers/developers in your team can spin up sandbox envioronments to test applciation releases before they are rolled out to production environments. Or do performance benchmarks or any other internal testing scenario you see relevant in your team.
